How noesun came to our lives

It came to our hearts

Because of my role at noesun at the moment, there is a lot of thinking, strategizing, planning, structuring, verbalizing. It is what it is needed to manifest the massive vision we have been given. And it is easy to lose touch emotionally from the original vision… You get carried away by strategy and operations, your intellect takes over. First tasked by the heart, your mind can quickly lose touch with the original brief if you don’t stay conscious.

The noesun vision did not start while we were thinking. It started with powerful emotions, coming from essential needs remaining unmet, after a shake up of our world views. In the case of noesun: a longing for nature that we would reconnect with and protect, growth and a more conscious lifestyle, a need for more empowering values and beliefs. And a beautiful way to stay true to the original sparkle that created the fire is holding space to stay connected to your heart and your purpose. I usually use affirmation, visualization, meditation. This week I had two heart opening moments with friends downloading for noesun: Joy through a tarot reading, Andrea through tetha-healing.

What came

After Joy shared her wisdom, Kat asked me how noesun came to me. It got me to remember and this is what I will share here. noesun did not come to life because a marketer identified “trends” on the market, although we wrote about what we observe here. It came from deep transformative experiences (Retreats, Afrikaburn, Seminars, Conferences, Festivals, Courses) where I experienced the highlights of my life, and multiple struggles I personally experienced. I will focus on the struggles as noesun is about responding to needs that are unmet today:

  • There are so many contradicting methods/recipes, how do you know what to trust? Which providers for which services/products?
  • Imagine you curated the perfect lifestyle and suppliers, how do you implement it now? How do you create the habit?
  • You don’t have enough time in the day/week to integrate everything you want (in part because things are scattered).
  • Realizations can get wiped by omnipresent mainstream culture & your current environment if your dedication goes down.
  • Nature [slow internet, low comfort] and Work [requires connectivity and productivity setup] force a choice.
  • Nature and Culture/Social force a choice :) — A good friend of ours feels isolated since he moved to the countryside.
  • Meditation/Yoga Retreats [inner focus] and Creation Sprees [outer focus] also currently force a choice.
  • Work culture is often “Work Hard, Play Hard” and networking is often around psycho active substances: coffee/alcool/…
  • Work has become “everywhere, all the time” due to mobile internet. Try to free your mind in these circumstances!

What crystallized

First crystallized in me the wisdom, peace, joy and love and all the empowering beliefs, values and emotions I could experience and integrate through the spaces I have been presented with. I kept exploring and it kept accumulating, refining. Patterns started to appear, it simplified itself and I was finally able to boil all of it down to a few key insights that could enable a beautiful transformative experience.

And little by little, came the idea of a space to hold (and then to build) when we were not able to find something that could satisfy the needs we had identified. That space turned out to be the perfect answer for the co-living, co-working needs of our time. A space to be extraordinary: be your best self and do your best work.
